Borusan Contemporary, operating under the innovative “office-museum” concept, opens its doors to art lovers only on weekends, transforming a corporate space into an immersive art experience.

🏰 The Story Behind "Perili Köşk"

Originally named the Yusuf Ziya Pasha Mansion, the building’s construction began in the 1910s. Due to the outbreak of World War I, the upper floors were never completed, giving rise to the nickname “Perili Köşk” (Haunted Mansion).

After years of neglect, the mansion was fully restored between 1995–2000 by architect Hakan Kıran, preserving its historical façade while adapting the interior for modern use. Since 2007, it has housed Borusan Holding and transformed into Borusan Contemporary on weekends.
