🖌️ Depictions of Artemis, Apollo, Pan, Dionysus, and Heracles were crafted by skilled sculptors from Aphrodisias. The triangular pediments contain 12 zodiac symbols, reflecting ancient beliefs in celestial and cosmic order.
🏛️ It is believed that Herakleia Hieronu belonged to a prominent figure of the era. Through the reliefs, the tomb’s owner sought to portray a connection with the gods, emphasizing divine favor and status.
