Kızılören Han: A Historical Caravanserai from the Seljuk Era
Located between Konya and Beyşehir, Kızılören Han, also known as "Yazıönü Han", was built in 1206 during the reign of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev I by Emir Kandemir. As one of the finest examples of Seljuk caravanserai architecture, the structure consists of two main sections: a courtyard and a covered shelter area.
Kızılören Han, built as a crucial stop along Seljuk trade routes, stands out as one of the most significant caravanserais of its time due to its solid construction and architectural details.
