History of the Seljuk Pavilion
One of the most significant Seljuk-era structures in Konya, the Seljuk Pavilion was originally built during the reign of Sultan Kilij Arslan III and later restored and expanded by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad. Also known as Alaeddin Pavilion, this structure is considered one of the finest examples of Seljuk palace architecture.
The pavilion served as an inspiration for Ottoman structures, including the famous Justice Towers of Bursa, Edirne, and Topkapı Palaces.
