This is the Latife Hanım Mansion (Latife Hanım Köşkü) —
the former residence of Latife Hanım, wife of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk,
and the house where his beloved mother Zübeyde Hanım spent her final days.

Today, the mansion serves as the Latife Hanım Memorial House,
a private museum opened to the public in 2008 after a full restoration that preserved its historical integrity.
