Stone Artifacts Hall (right)Ceramic Artifacts Hall (center)Precious Items Hall (left)

🗿 Stone Artifacts Hall

This two-story building showcases sculptures and architectural pieces from the Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic, and Roman periods.

Archaic Period (900–700 BCE): Monumental statues influenced by contact with Egypt.Classical Period (490–330 BCE): Realistic depictions of athletes, gods, and goddesses, with more defined three-dimensional forms.Hellenistic Period (330–30 BCE): Emotionally expressive sculptures with elaborate details.Roman Period (30 BCE – 395 CE): Roman copies of Greek originals, such as the group statues of Demeter, Poseidon, and Artemis unearthed in the İzmir Agora.🪦 A special Burial Monuments Gallery features relief-covered tomb steles and sarcophagi mainly from the Roman era.

🏺 Ceramic Artifacts Hall

Spread over two floors, this hall exhibits ceramic works from the Prehistoric Period to the Byzantine Era.
Rather than being displayed chronologically, the ceramics are grouped based on their excavation sites. Visitors can admire beautiful examples of ancient pottery, jugs, lamps, and other daily-use vessels that reflect thousands of years of life in Anatolia.

💎 Precious Items Hall – A Timeline in Coins

This hall presents a chronological display of ancient coins:

Archaic and Classical coins from ancient cities like Lydia, Teos, Ephesus, Persia, Lycia, Athens, and Western Anatolia.Unique coins made of electrum, silver, and bronze. The exhibits offer insight into the economic, cultural, and political networks of the ancient world.
