The Historical Legacy of Hierapolis Ancient City
🏛️ The Roman Bath, one of the largest structures in Hierapolis Ancient City, has been serving as the Hierapolis Archaeology Museum since 1984. This impressive museum showcases artifacts excavated from Hierapolis and surrounding ancient cities, making it one of the best places to explore Denizli’s rich cultural heritage.
⚱️ In addition to artifacts from Hierapolis, the museum displays discoveries from ancient cities such as Laodicea, Colossae, Tripolis, and Attuda. Among its most significant collections are Bronze Age artifacts from Beycesultan Mound.
🗿 The museum also houses artifacts from the Caria, Pisidia, and Lydia regions, providing a broad view of the area's historical diversity.
